Virtual Therapy

While life is a beautiful journey, we can also find ourselves trapped in an endless chorus of worry, weighed down by expectations from ourselves and others, full of doubt and struggling to see our own worth or a way forward, and sometimes even our own bodies can feel like they are abandoning us. Allow me to be a guide for whatever path you are on. PsychTherapy Travels offers virtual, individual therapy. You are provided with a safe space where you can let out all that you have been carrying and receive unconditional support. You deserve this.

Specialty Areas

Anxiety, Depression, Mood

Utilizing evidence based practices to address anxiety, depression and mood conditions, we practice positive coping tools in session that can easily be applied in everyday life. Time is taken to explore possible precipitating factors of symptoms and create collaborative plans to prepare for and address these symptoms when they arise.

Chronic Pain / Illness and Insomnia

I specialize in providing mind-body approaches to chronic pain / chronic illness treatment. I incorporate Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment therapies in the alleviation of chronic symptoms and the complex emotional, interpersonal and intrapersonal toll that will often accompany these conditions. I also provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for the treatment of Insomnia.

Adjustments and Transitions

Sometimes life takes us off course or presents us with new and exciting challenges. I work with adults to navigate the life stressors and transitions that inevitably cross our path. Through problem solving, coping tools, compassion, and realigning with values, we can start moving toward and embracing what is meaningful again.

Trauma

I pull from Cognitive Processing Therapy when it comes to exploring trauma and the pervasive impact it can have on one’s functioning. I create a safe space where one can choose how they approach their trauma in therapy, without judgement, and work to find a way to rebuild one’s sense of self and ability to positively cope and interact with the world again.
